Here We Go

We're spending our last few hours in Canada scrambling to get everything ready. We're set to head to the airport in under 3 hours now and Greg is still running around packing.
Anyways we figured it was about time to lay out the basic itinerary for you guys. Dave, Greg and I booked a ridiculous flight route to save a few bucks and are now facing 4 flights, 5 different airports and nearly 30 hours of travel time before we finally touch down in Athens. Tristan is meeting us there a day later. We then have 3 more days booked in a hostel before we'll probably set off to explore the rest of Greece. The only other things we have booked is a 3 month Eurorail pass, and a flight home from London on June 4th, and 5 nights in a Munich hostel during mid-march. We booked this so we could catch Munich's Starkbierzeit which literally translates to strong beer festival. Other than that we'll be figuring it out as we go.

  1. Chief, if it's not too much trouble, I'd like you to snag me an authentic greco-roman statue while you're in Greece (no more than a few feet tall). You can just bring it back with you in June.

    Thanks,

    The Baron.

  2. dave - probably cheaper if you take turns paying for hostels on your visas - every transaction is charged a currency conversion - best if only one transaction per hostel instead of all four of you.

  3. Tristan got away OK and should be landing in Franfurt at 1:45 am PST. He then has a flight to Athens. He should be in better shape than his buddies!
    Have a great time, guys!
