Dear You
The days since our last post have been rather uneventful. We enjoyed deep sleeps, hardy meals and beautiful surroundings. With a party hostel, a beer festival and a birthday awaiting us in Munich, these past few relaxing days have been the calm before the coming storm.
We spent 3 nights in Bled which offered up a nice lake, a cool hilltop castle, friendly Slovenians and the best pizza of the trip so far. We were the only people in our hostel and never even saw the owner after he gave us the key on our arrival.
From Bled we journeyed to Vienna, Austria to spend our last few days of preparation. Slovenia was great but their train system has some serious issues. Upon our arrival to the Bled station we were informed that the whole line to Austria was out of commission and once again we were rerouted onto a bus.
Austria welcomed us with moving trains and cheap chocolate. We're out of time. Tonight we take an overnight train to Munich where the chaos begins. We are ready. We will not be shamed.
