Popular Opinion seems to place us in Switzerland right now, well you popular people are sadly mistaken. 

WELCOME TO SLOVENIA

Surprised? Us too. We we're sitting with Tomo our last night in Florence trying to figure out where to go next when we saw Ljubljana on a map. With no idea how to pronounce it and no idea where to go the next day, it seemed like a good time for some exploring. We decided to hit the warm beaches of Slovenia. We fell asleep on the train only to awake to 50 centimeters of snow sitting outside the window. Luckily the snow dispersed as we neared Ljubljana, however we were welcomed with a torrential down pour that has not stopped since our arrival. By the way it turns out its Loo-blee-ana, although it will always djembajemba to us. 

Desperate for an escape from Italy, we were forced to stop in the dirtiest town of them all on our way to Slovenia. Venice was interesting, unlike anywhere we've ever been. It truely is a cool place, but it truely does smell. 

Tomorrow we are going to Bled, in northern Slovenia, known for its glacier lake and beautiful hikes. We'll fire up another post from there.
